Rahul, a budding Prime Minister

2009 is going to mark another important historical impact for India with General Election due this year. The biggest question is what will be the Rahul Gandhi’s role? Do we perceive him as next Prime Minister? If yes are we stepping towards something called monarchy or a family business of politics for CEO post oops I mean Prime Minister post.

Its always wise to learn from past mistakes and mistake done my others, if we keep repeating the mistakes there is no one else but ourselves to blame it for. Bush Junior was admired in beginning but his policies took US and in fact the entire world towards Sub-Prime recession. Moreover if we compare Rahul with Bush, he is much younger then Bush Junior and to add to the misery he is still on India tour to understand India. A person who could not understand India in 35 years and with the highly politic environment of his family can he takes the responsibility?

It would be harsh not to let him try as he is definitely been trained to be a part of power since childhood but to give a responsibility of a highly dignified post would be real challenge to take on. It would be advisable to test his policies at the lower level first, may be this will give Indians a chance to identify real candidate for the post among 1.35 Billion of us.

Choice is still with you do you want let people around you to take the risk of following Monarchy or search for a more deserving candidate.

Diamonds are found in mines and are polished to make them glitter. Its not the other way round i.e. diamond cannot glitter first and then we take it to the mining process.

Evidences

In less then 24hrs of India submitting the evidences related to Pakistani involvement in the 26/11 attack to Pakistan. They have not only raised the question on evidences but also once again denied any involvement of any Pakistan in planning, control or support for the attack.

Is this an indication that Pakistan has better investigating agencies that can verify evidences in less then 24 hrs while Indian counter part took 40 days to collect them?
Or is it that the Pakistani agencies had enough time to destroy all the scenarios linked to the evidences presented by India? In both the cases I think Pakistani’s are more capable then Indian counterparts. They are not only aggressive in speech but also in action.

Now think if you say a lie with force people will tend to believe it but if you say a truth in low but formal voice with jittery words people will consider it to be formal, perfunctory or concocted for a specific reason.

Its time we Indian act as leaders, our action should speak rather then our words. I don’t encourage pulling the trigger but to pull some muscles and have dialogue with Pakistan face to face. Its time we should believe on our own capabilities and use international pressure as our support rather then relying on international support.

Leaders don’t follow they make people follow them.
